Health Office Reminders

Greetings parents/guardians-

 We thank you for your goal of having your student attend school as much as possible, however we do ask that you avoid medicating your child prior to attending for a fever they are experiencing overnight and that morning. We are seeing an increase in noon hour fevers, and students explaining they received medication for their fever before coming to school.  While the fever does go away with meds, unfortunately the virus does not. We do have immunocompromised students and staff persons and we want to protect them to the best of our ability, especially with knowledge of illness . As a reminder, our illness policy is 24 hours fever free WITHOUT the use of medication to return to school. We again appreciate your support in preventing the spread of illness in our school and community.
